You also need to pay check or money order to vital records services. They accept personal checks. You need to enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope with the application.

You can also call up or visit the official website in order to confirm current fees. For birth and death certificates from July 1909 onwards, you need to pay about twelve dollars and nine dollars respectively. The Wyoming law limits the access of these records to only the following people:

a) The individual named on the certificate
b) Parents of the individual
c) Immediate kin

You must also include the following information:

a) Full name of the individual on the certificate
b) Full name of father
c) Full maiden name of mother
d) Your relationship with the individual
e) Your full mailing address
f) Reason for request
g) Your daytime telephone number with area code
h) Your signature
i) The place of birth/death
j) The date of birth/death
